Contact Bergen County American Legion Auxiliary
For God and Country, we associate ourselves together for the following purposes:
To uphold and defend the constitution of the United States of America; to maintain law and order; to foster and perpetuate a one hundred per cent Americanism; to preserve the memories and incidents of our associations during the Great Wars; to inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state and nation; to combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses; to make right the master of might; to promote peace and goodwill on earth; to safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom, and democracy; to participate in and contribute to the accomplishment of the aims and purposes of The American Legion; to consecrate and sanctify our association by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.
President’s Message
Bergen County Auxiliary President’s Message
I’ve been fortunate to have been entrusted to be the Bergen County American Legion Auxiliary President in a two-year term
from 2023-2025. It is an honor to work with a winning team of officers and our executive board of Past County Presidents &
Past Dept. Presidents. Our active units are to be commended for their hard work and dedication to our veterans. We have a wealth
of information and experience among us. Collectively, we have hundreds of years at hand! Our knowledge and continuous
communication, growing membership & fundraisers focus on the well-being of our organization, its sustainability and first and
foremost, our veterans. We will continue to move forward and advance with respect and
kind words, sharing ideas, bridging the gap and being mentors to each other. As we come together let’s continue to strengthen and
become empowered for the good of the American Legion Auxiliary of Bergen County Organization, remaining united as the
Big Bee Family. Everyone has a superpower! What is yours? Share it with us and others. I encourage you to seek leadership classes, increase
your unit membership and work together for our veterans, active military and their families. I welcome all qualified men and ladies
alike to join our volunteer ranks in the BCAL Auxiliary. We are proud members willing to give of our time.
Always remember Service over Self. We are all like-minded and I acknowledge your outstanding commitment and dedication. Let
us continue to be helpful, be happy, and be you. Make what you do fruitful and always remember to make it fun!
God Bless America!
