Hillsdale Post 162 Donates to Library

American Legion Post 162 of Hillsdale has made a $2,000 donation to the Hillsdale Library to enhance their U.S. Military collection.  Pictured is Library Director Dave Franz and Legion Commander Phil Langner.  Phil stated “We owe so much to the men and women who have served in the Armed Forces. Their sacrifices have made our quality of life possible.  We want to make sure that the facts and stories of their efforts are available for the next generation to read and to learn”.  Dave Franz was very appreciative of the donation.  He commented that “funds to build up the collection at the Library have been under pressure due to rising operating costs.  We intend to take our time and select the most meaningful works that will fulfill the request of the American Legion with this donation.”  Any donations to the Library to help grow their overall collection would be greatly appreciated.  The Hillsdale Library has consistently been one of the most active Libraries in the area.
